Dramatic Cliffs of Moher Fall Elopement

I will start by first saying that a Fall elopement on the Cliffs of Moher is not for the faint of heart. It was cold, windy, and intermittently rainy all day - but damn, was it absolutely magical.

Our day started with an early road trip from Dublin and some on the go beauty by the one and only Jen Lagers. After a quick lunch break it was time to head to our first location before going up the cliffs.

Impeccably scouted and styled by Britt Jones, we started at a small stone bridge down around sea level. If you look closely, you can also see an old tower structure in the background. The wind whipped along the trail around us but you’d never know just how cold it was the way these two kept each other cozy.

While I adore the sparkle of the first gown, I think the sleek satin of the second gown was absolutely perfect for the views from the top of the cliffs - and who says you can’t have a look change even during an elopement!

Scroll all the way to the end for my favourite elopement guest photo I’ve ever taken.

D’s unmistakably old-hollywood air meant I just had to include some grainy black and white portraits. I love the way he looks like he just stepped out of the screen.
