Mid Summer Wedding in the Fraser Valley
There’s an energy I expect to feel when arriving to a wedding in the morning. A buzz of dresses being whisked over to be steamed, hair stylists hot tools lined up in rows, videos of how to tie and tie being searched (consistently, almost every time) and a simmering excitement that hasn’t quite popped into full blown chaos just yet.
What this looks varies to some degree of course - depending upon the couple, the space, the weather - but you’ll see below that for S & N it was all grins.
It’s hard not to get a sense for a couple on a wedding day. You’re seeing an emotional rollercoaster of experiences unfold over an incredibly short window of time. You’re listening to intimate and loving promises being shared. And you’re watching people manage stress (and in this case, some serious high temperatures) throughout it all.
It makes for a wonderfully heartwarming experience when it is all joyful.
And when I tell you I wanted to steal away their MC for my own wedding, I’m not exaggerating.
