Downtown Vancouver Engagement Photoshoot in the Rain

Raincouver, Juneuary, rain-city, or whatever other fun play on words locals come up with while indoors 8 or 9 months of the year, you have to know it’s always possible your shoot will see a little rain. Some people wait for the sun to come back out for their engagement photos, others skip through puddles all the way to Earnest Ice Cream.

Honestly, if you’re willing to brave it, shooting outside in the rain here in Vancouver can be a lot of fun. Embrace all the Hollywood epic romantic moment clichés. Be the manic pixie dream girl of the twenty-tens. If you’re a bird, I’m a bird and all that.
