My goal in photography has always been authenticity and a timelessness in each and every frame - and when it comes to weddings, maybe even a little magic.

It’s truly an honour to even be considered to be a part of your celebration,

and with couples my focus is first and foremost to capture you as you are together. The kind of candid images that remind you how you felt laughing, playing, cuddling in that moment. I offer guidance and direction throughout every session so you can enjoy yourselves no matter your comfort level in front of the camera and know you're being taken care of. My editing style is intended to be as true to life as possible, to showcase every detail exactly as you chose it.

I hope to be able to capture the big moments, the laughs, the tears, and everything in between so that you can look back on your photos and feel the excitement again.

Smell the bouquets again.

Taste the cake again.

Enjoy your wedding and all the love that went into it all over again.

Local wedding photography starts at $4449, average client investment is $5849. For destination please book your consultation to receive your custom-tailored collections.

The Experience

1. Let's Connect

Hi!! I'm so thrilled you're here.

I suggest reserving your date between 10-18 months in advance but I do accept bookings within 3 months out (subject to availability of course!) Once you've filled out the contact form I will get back to you within 24 hours (if you don't see it, check your junk/other folder!). If I'm available for your date, let's set up a quick call, Zoom, or grab coffee if you're in the neighbourhood and get to know each other a little better.

2. Your Day, Your Way

Every wedding is unique and as a result the amount of time required to capture the whole day is always going to vary a little. Together we'll determine what the day looks like for the two of you as well as what aspects are most important.

Photography is one of the very few things you are left with beyond the wedding day itself and the significance of your photos will only increase as the years pass.

Couples invest an average of $5849 for local, single day weddings for full day coverage.

3. "Okay But We're So Awkward"

This is so normal. You want authentic and genuine moments captured and you're worried you're too awkward for that - but this is not the case! I'm here to guide you into beautiful spaces with ideal lighting and let you just be with each other. Perhaps I'll give you a prompt to create the opportunity for more interaction - I may even have a quippy one-liner up my sleeve for a laugh. But take the pressure off yourself! My ultimate goal is that you enjoy yourselves, that's what produces emotive images. Overall, the feedback I get the most is that I'm a calm presence on a wedding day.

If you're a local wedding, I'll be including an engagement session in your collection so that we have the opportunity to get out together before the wedding itself.

If you're having a destination wedding, I'll be including rehearsal dinner coverage (with a small portrait session of course!) as another way to get together a bit before the wedding even if we aren't in the same area prior to the ceremony.

4. Almost The Big Day

The details have fallen into place, the RSVPs returned, and the countdown is on. I'll be checking in about 4-6 weeks before your wedding to confirm everything from start time, addresses, day-of contacts, and more. If you're not working with a planner, this is done by filling out a quick quistionnaire but, if we've got a lot of ground to cover, we can set up a call or Zoom instead.

5. Take It All In - Enjoy!

The work is done, the day has arrived, revel in it. I've got you(r memories) covered.

6. Your Photos

If you're here, reading this far down into the list of what working with me looks like, I think it's fair to guess you've already seen my photos. My editing is intended to reflect the day you experienced, accurately represent the colours and venue you chose, and showcase all the faces of your loved ones as you know them.

You will recieve a handful of "sneak peek" images within 48 hours of your wedding, with the average turnaround for your full gallery being 6-8 weeks.

7. Real, Lasting Memories

While it isn't automatically included in every wedding collection, I strongly, strongly recommend printing your photos. So much love and effort went into this day, so many loved ones came together to celebrate you, and you'll buzz with emotion as you excitedly scroll through your gallery the first time, second time, maybe the tenth time! But what about years, and years from now? Maybe the platform hosting the gallery doesn't even exist anymore.

Do you envision future generations of your family to gather around a computer to see your wedding day? Maybe it's the nostalgic in me, but I don't. I see a beautiful leather bound album, or a box of 4x6s, lovingly pulled down from the shelf to be remenisced over and gently flipped through.

I work with an amazing, handmade Canadian album maker (Dekora) and would be thrilled to design a physical album of your wedding photos - but even if it's not with me. I beg you, print your photos.
