It’s truly an honour to even be considered to be a part of your celebration,
and with couples my focus is first and foremost to capture you as you are together. The kind of candid images that remind you how you felt laughing, playing, cuddling in that moment. I offer guidance and direction throughout every session so you can enjoy yourselves no matter your comfort level in front of the camera and know you're being taken care of. My editing style is intended to be as true to life as possible, to showcase every detail exactly as you chose it.
My goal in photography has always been authenticity and a timelessness in each and every frame - and when it comes to weddings, maybe even a little magic.

What is your style of photography?
I love to capture people as candidly and authentically as I can and this is reflected in my editing style as well. I want to create images that are as true to life as possible. I love movement and I want your photos to reflect the day you experienced! Traditionally posed photos or retouching are utilized very thoughtfully but the majority of my work is very 'in the moment'. A blend of photojournalistic and editorial could be used to describe my images in more technical terms, but nostalgic and romantic are the feelings they evoke :)
How long have you been photographing weddings?
I've been in the industry for over a decade now and went full time with my own photography business in 2016.
Do you offer videography?

How much does it cost to hire you as a wedding photographer?
My local full day wedding coverage starts at $4449 (for single day events). Average client investment is $5849. Please reach out to book your consultation and receive your custom-tailored collection options and to inquire about destination wedding availability.
How far in advance do we need to book?
I recommend about one year in advance if you're looking for peak season (June-September) to ensure you can get your ideal date. I also have had couples book as close as two months to their date! I open my calendar to new bookings maximum 18 months in advance but but don't hesitate to reach out at anytime :).
Do you give some kind of posing guidance? We don't know how to pose!
Yes! For the most part I will give you prompts of actions you can do together to create candid moments and where it fits I will also direct you into more traditional poses as well. If you have ideas for certain poses you'd like, that's great, but it's definitely not required.
Do we need engagement photos?
I absolutely recommend that you do (in fact I include them in almost all my full-day wedding collections, on the house!) It is an amazing opportunity to get a little more comfortable being in front of the camera, we get to have a little ice breaker time together before the big day, and you may even pick up a thing or two after hearing some of my direction while shooting to have in your back pocket for the wedding :) And you get some more beautiful photos! The engagement portion lasts so much longer than the wedding day itself, why not commemorate it as well?
When do you recommend starting photo coverage for the wedding? When do you recommend it go until?
My personal recommendation is to allow for at least 1 hour of 'getting ready' coverage (start photo coverage 1 hour before you'll be finished getting ready) and go until the dance floor opens to everyone at the reception.
Do you do black and white photos or strictly colour?
My standard offering included in all wedding galleries is a mix of primarily colour to some black and white (where the situation, setting, etc lends itself to B&W well) If you know you'd like to have a copy of every photo in both colour and black and white, check out the 'a la carte' section of my wedding collections and add it to your day :)
We're having a small gathering, do you do intimate ceremonies or elopements?
Yes!! I love intimate weddings. Please reach out and we can chat about what would be ideal for your ceremony :) Elopement rates are available Mon-Fri during peak season and throughout October-May.
Do we get the copyrights to our wedding photos?
No. It's quite rare and expensive for photographers to sell the copyright to their photos - but you don't really need it. All this means is you can't sell the photos and I am able to use them in my portfolio to advertise my own work. You DO get a print release and are absolutely welcome to do so and share with friends and family as well as on your social pages online.
