A garden wedding at Cecil Green Park House is always a stunning choice and having it in September is just a bonus if you ask me (September weddings are my favourite!).

It’s pretty common in destination weddings to not get any face-to-face time with a couple until the week of the wedding and while M & S’s wedding wasn’t technically a destination for me, they planned it all from California.

I love an engagement session because of the insight it gives me into a couples relationship and M & S were no exception. Playful banter, lots of laughs, a little hint of competition, and overall a really lovely experience that unsurprisingly translated into what was a beautiful wedding later the same week.

The black tie affair saw guests gathering in the garden for a late-afternoon ceremony (which left not a dry eye in the house, I might add!) followed by cocktail hour and dinner under the string lights of Cecil Greens back patio.
