Do you ever come across people who are so authentic, so genuinely themselves, that you get a sense of their style right away?

I’ve been in a unique position this wedding season - planning my own. Before I found my own dress, I had my eyes on a gorgeous pair of long, fingerless, tulle gloves that could be custom embroidered. For reasons you’ll understand eventually, the dress I chose isn’t suited to gloves but, when I met R, I just had a feeling..

About half-way through their engagement photos, we got to chatting about their upcoming wedding. I learned R had a dress that would be the perfect match for these gloves and just knew they would fit her gorgeous style.

And like every other detail throughout their wedding, they were tasteful, classic, and personalized.

After getting ready at Hotel Le Soleil, R & I headed to Gastown for their first look and portraits before their ceremony and reception at L’abattoir.

Baby’s breath and candles added to the ambiance of the setting to create the ultimate, intimate wedding experience for the friends and family in attendance.
